Just a short 15-minute drive from downtown, our unique waterfront location boasts breathtaking views of Bayou Bienvenue and the New Orleans city skyline.  

Beyond our scenic locale, we set ourselves apart from the rest with our fleet of tour boats that can accommodate up to 150 passengers at a time.  Aboard these spacious vessels, you’ll see first hand the distinctive coastal ecosystems of New Orleans’ backyard, as well as the unique critters that call it home. 

Always on the menu here at The Wharf on Bienvenue is fresh, locally sourced seafood, some of which is caught directly from our dock. 

Our mission is to create a lasting connection to the coast for each of our guests.

Enjoy the scenery and wildlife of Louisiana’s fertile delta aboard one of our covered boats. Your boat captain will explain our rich coastal culture, commercial fishing industry, coastal erosion and restoration, showcase world-class flood protection, including The Great Wall of Louisiana, and our progressive coastal restoration project efforts creating new marsh lands that protect our coast! 

Your Louisiana Experience wouldn’t be complete without an up-close and personal experience with The American Alligator, Louisiana’s greatest coastal conservation story. This ancient and fascinating reptile has existed for millions of years and is a symbol of our state’s natural beauty and resilience! 

Along with the use of our facilities upper and lower event space, complimentary soft drinks, water, beer, wine, and champagne will be provided throughout your stay.

Our menu offers the following:

Caesar Salad 

Crisp romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, croutons, drizzled with a zesty caesar dressing 

Louisiana Char-Grilled Oysters

Plump and succulent Louisiana Oysters grilled over an open flame, drizzled with our home-made Garlic Butter Sauce and blended cheeses. 

Alligator Sauce Piquant

Bold bite-sized pieces of alligator meat simmered in a rich, cajun, tomato-based sauce, full of cajun flavor. 

Build-your-own New Orleans Po-Boy 

Build your own traditional New Orleans Sandwich with fried Louisiana Shrimp or Fish on Vietnamese Bread from the infamous New Orleans Duong Phuong Bakery.

Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya 

Enjoy our delicious cajun blend of rice, chicken, cajun sausage, vegetables, and creole spices.

Shrimp Fettuccini

Our Louisiana Shrimp Fettuccine truly celebrates Louisiana’s culinary heritage, bringing together the richness of Local Seafood, Italian pasta, and bold and spicy flavors of Creole cuisine.
